3" LIVINGSTONI CICHLID (NIMBOCHROMIS LIVINGSTONII)

In its juvenile stage the Livingstoni Cichlid is commonly confused with the Venustus Cichlid. They share similar body structure and pattern, but the main difference is the color when they mature. The Livingstoni shifts from a warm brownish yellow in its juvenile stage to an impressive blue when it matures. The Venustus cichlid only intensifies its yellow tone making him also a nice Nimbochromis. In our pictures you will see two different colors, first is the juvenile stage with brownish tones and the blue one represents the mature stages. In some cases the blue will appear at earlier stages.
