Cholla Wood

4 inch piece of cholla wood. 

Cholla wood creates a perfect hiding place for baby shrimp. it slowly releases tannins in the water which is excellent for shrimp and bettas. When first put into the tank cholla wood floats, but within a  day or two you will notice that it will sink. cholla wood over time start gets a layer of biofilm on it which is an excellent source of food for your shrimp.
