Halfbeak Fish

Halfbeaks are a family of fish (Hemiramphidae) known for their distinctive, elongated lower jaw, which is significantly longer than the upper jaw. These slender, surface-dwelling fish inhabit warm, shallow waters worldwide and feed on insects and zooplankton. Some species, like the wrestling halfbeak, are livebearers and are popular in the aquarium hobby due to their unique appearance and surface-oriented behavior.
